Charles McCarter: Just for the sheer fun of it, the MAISON IKKOKU PARTY ALBUM. On Christmas Eve, Kyoko and Godai, who had planned to spend a quiet evening together (sniff) get dragged out to karaoke by everyone else. This show had some of the best songs ever, and now you can hear the characters doing their best to belt them out. And then you can give it a shot too. A fun CD, and it even has a holiday theme!

Keith Rhee: FINAL FANTASY VII REUNION TRACKS (import CD). The album lists some of the more popular tracks from the FF7 score. Of particular notice is the last three tracks, which are fully orchestrated symphonic versions of the main theme, the theme from the last boss battle, and Aerith's theme. Slide this disc in and crank up the volume!

Scott Frazier: COWBOY BEBOP soundtracks. They're pretty cool. I want the elusive TIME STRANGER soundtrack. I've been looking for it on CD for 10 years now.

Mark Johnson: The 2ND COWBOY BEBOP OST for me. Kanno Yoko does her magic once more, and it's surely worth a listen for her fans.

Roderick Lee: PERFECT BLUE ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK. "CHAM! CHAM! CHAM!" Sure, the Cham songs are sugary and poppy, but it is the juxtaposition of these songs with the darker instrumentals that make this soundtrack, and movie, a treat.

Ivevei Upatkoon: I remember in high school when I would get weird looks from people when I told them what it was I was listening to. Still love that 8-bit music, but here I'd like to recommend two game soundtracks for Saturn and PSX: MAGIC KNIGHT RAYEARTH and DRACULA X (KICA 7760). You'll need to have played the games to really appreciate the music, but these make good listening any time of the day. Granted, if you're not in Japan it might be hard to get hold of them.

Eric "Scanner" Luce: KEY THE METAL IDOL is not a new anime, although it is just now reaching its conclusion in the American releases. The soundtracks however are beautiful, mysterious, engaging, and catchy! This series of CDs has everything from action to mystery to j-pop to abstract scene-setting scores.

Tom Larsen: KEY THE METAL IDOL is without a doubt one of the most unique stories to come a long in awhile. This series has part of its theme in the Music Idol Industry and therefore has some very good vocal music. I really want the final closing song used in the last episode of KEY... I think its on KEY OST 3.

Maria Rider: CARD CAPTOR SAKURA ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK CD. The CD to get if you love the anime series, it has a lot of the BGMs used in the show as well as the show's opening song, "Catch You, Catch Me". Unfortunately it does not have the ending song, "Groovy", you will have to get that on the CD single, which is out now as well.

Rika Takahashi: VIOLINIST OF HAMELN ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACKS 1-3. Probably one of the most interesting blend of various classical tunes, and with piano/violin/flute solos that you probably will never hear elsewhere. Where else can you hear a flute solo + orchestra accompaniment version of Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries...?
